Meet the Team
Chad Jackson, B.S., D.C.
Dr. Jackson was first introduced to chiropractic shortly after graduating from Murray State University when he began facing some personal health issues. Enduring 4 years of appointments, tests and countless prescriptions he began to look for a new approach to address his health concerns and went to see his local chiropractor. A plan was put in place involving regular chiropractic adjustments coupled with progressive changes to his diet and exercise. Over the next 6 months he was and cleared of his prior medical issues. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia where he would meet his future wife and business partner, Dr. Chelsea Hartinger. Dr. Jackson utilizes techniques such as Diversified, Activator, and Webster along with Thompson and Cox Flexion/Distraction, both of which he has had advanced training. In his free time, you can find Dr. Jackson swimming and lifting weights, golfing, cooking, and cheering on the Wildcats.
Chelsea Hartinger, B.S., D.C.
Dr. Hartinger was introduced to chiropractic as a teenager seeking relief from injuries sustained while dancing competitively. Then while completing her undergraduate degree Dr. Hartinger worked for several chiropractors and saw the way people were healing with incredible results. It was there she learned all that chiropractic had to offer and decided to be the doctor herself. Dr. Hartinger completed her bachelor of science degree from Grand Valley State University, and then went on to Life University in Marietta, Georgia to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Hartinger practices gentle, low force techniques such as Activator, Thompson, and Sacro-Occipital techniques in addition to traditional Diversified adjustments. She is passionate about caring for pregnant women and children and received specialized training in order to best serve her patients. Dr. Hartinger is certified in Webster technique and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She enjoys an active lifestyle exercising, practicing yoga, reading, and trying new healthy recipes in her free time.
Drs. Jackson and Hartinger discovered Georgetown while looking for a city to start their own chiropractic practice and immediately fell in love with its charming, small-town vibe with a big sense of community. They have since joined the Chamber and are eager to continue connecting with neighbors and business owners. Their vision is for Legacy Chiropractic to become an integral resource for health and wellness to Georgetown families.
